Overview
26-input, 40-channel rack mixer with stagebox and monitor mixer modes
The StudioLive® 24R is a compact 40-channel digital mixer delivering powerful, flexible mixing. Use it standalone with Universal Control software, as a stage box with StudioLive Series III consoles, or with EarMix 16M personal mixers. It’s also a 128-channel (64x64) bidirectional USB audio interface with vintage-modeled dynamics and EQ plug-ins on every input and bus.
With 16 FlexMixes configurable as auxes, subgroups, or matrix mixes, plus four effects buses and four subgroups, routing adapts to any workflow. 24 DCAs provide fast, flexible group control. Powered by the single-core PreSonus® FLEX DSP Engine, it offers 40 mixing channels, 22 buses, and 270 processors including Fat Channel plug-ins.
The USB interface enables easy multitrack recording and plug-in routing, with playback streams activated instantly by one button for effortless monitoring. Digitally recallable preamps and vintage-modeled EQ and compression run natively and inside Studio One Pro®.
A free firmware update adds Milan certification, an improved limiter with variable release, and expanded Digital Reverb XL controls with new presets—offering enhanced power and precision. With this firmware update, you also get the 7 additional State Space Models EQs (10 total) and 8 analog-inspired compressors (11 total) from the Fat Channel Collection installed standard, adding even more processing to create studio-quality mixers for your live session.

Highlights

The perfect personal monitoring system.
When combined with up to 16 EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers, the StudioLive 24R is the most powerful personal monitoring hub available. With 16 FlexMix buses that can be configured as aux mixes, subgroups, or matrix mixes, the StudioLive 24R makes it easy to create simplified mixes for musicians on stage. No other personal monitoring system offers so much power and flexibility.

The digital stage box.
As a digital stage box, the StudioLive 24R provides 24 remote digitally controlled XMAX preamps that can be gain-staged right from your StudioLive Series III console Fat Channel. The outputs of the StudioLive 24R automatically mirror the mixes available on your console mixer, making routing fast and easy.

One-click recording
The StudioLive 24R is tightly integrated with PreSonus® Capture® live-recording software. Capture is designed to make recording easy by instantly configuring with your mixer and allowing you to record every channel plus the main mix with a single mouse click. Even better, your Capture sessions open natively in Studio One!
